Specifics of the plant

  • The plant covers 8 hectares.
  • The project consists of 28 independent solar plants of 100 nominal kW each.
  • Every plant has its own transformer and Solarmax 100C inverter.
  • There are 5 plants with Yingli modules (all polycrystaline) and 23 plants with Canadian Solar modules (mono- and polycrystaline). In total 17.872 photovoltaic modules are installed.
  • The construction began in August 2006 and the official inauguration was in October 2007.
  • Every year this plant produces the energy for 1900 Spanish households and prevents the emission of 4500 tons of CO2.
  • A monitoring system and frequent maintenance keep the plant performing at an optimum.
